Tutor Bio:
Marissa really struggled with school when she was in elementary school and middle school. Math was where she was most comfortable but reading and writing were really difficult for her. Because of that experience, she can understand what it feels like to be frustrated with a subject. She is a math major at Biola University. She loves math and is working toward becoming a math teacher some day.

When she tutor students she likes to help them through a few problems and as they become more comfortable with the material she will ask guiding questions to help them work through the problems on their own. She loves working with kids and helping them to understand material that they find challenging. She is willing to comprimise in finding a location to meet to tutor.
