Tutor Bio:
Amanda is a widely published journalist and fiction writer who has been teaching both locally and abroad for the past two years. Most recently, she taught creative writing at Hart High School to ELL students. She is currently an MFA Writing candidate at California Institute of the Arts and is an expert English, reading, writing (both academic/research and creative) and critical thinking tutor. She lives in Echo Park, but enjoys tutoring all over Los Angeles. She has worked with students ranging from ages 9-21 of varying levels and as such has learned flexibility and patience.
