Anthony strives to stimulate students to achieve their goals by working with students at their pace to master the difficult concepts of successful writing, social sciences, and the process of university admissions. Anthony’s approach is goal-oriented, with a focus on the individual needs and goals of each of his tutees.
Bart brings his love of the English language to the table when teaching literature, grammar, or test prep. He is able to combine his contagious enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of the English language in order to create a fun, exciting tutoring environment for students of all ages.
Elizabeth has a comprehensive knowledge of both basic and college/AP level Biology and Chemistry. Elizabeth combines her unique ability to take into account students' perspectives with her extensive knowledge of science in order to teach students complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
Emily’s drive to help students succeed comes from a place of passion and creativity. With a Bachelor’s in Creative Writing and a Master’s in Education, her experience as an international educator and explorer enables her to connect with diverse students on multiple levels, helping them to achieve their personal successes.
Erik has a M.Ed. in Secondary English Education. He has taught in the classroom and tutored in New York, specializing in the ISEE, the gifted and talented entry test (Pre-K-2nd grade), and improving students’ writing no matter the grade or skill level. His approach emphasizes differentiated, creative instruction tailored to the individual student and he believes in engaging in the work with humor and curiosity, no matter how challenging.
