Anthony strives to stimulate students to achieve their goals by working with students at their pace to master the difficult concepts of successful writing, social sciences, and the process of university admissions. Anthony’s approach is goal-oriented, with a focus on the individual needs and goals of each of his tutees.
Erik has a M.Ed. in Secondary English Education. He has taught in the classroom and tutored in New York, specializing in the ISEE, the gifted and talented entry test (Pre-K-2nd grade), and improving students’ writing no matter the grade or skill level. His approach emphasizes differentiated, creative instruction tailored to the individual student and he believes in engaging in the work with humor and curiosity, no matter how challenging.
Holli has a passion for people: she loves human culture, history, languages, and political sciences. It is this passion for people that has allowed her to excel as a tutor. Holli believes in knowing her students as they are: their quirks, how they learn best, and what sorts of topics fascinate them.
Michael is a graduate from DePaul University where he received degrees in International Studies and Political Science. He excels in teaching English, Spanish, and test prep (e.g. ACT/SAT) to students of all ages and is a patient instructor who adapts his teaching style to match students’ needs.
