I was born and bred in New York, then attended Columbia College where I majored in History and Economics. I finally left NYC to chase the weather and the film business to Los Angeles, where I received my Master’s in Architecture from UCLA. Since then, I have been working as an Art Director in film and commercials while raising my two little boys.
My Teaching Experience
I started tutoring in college and have had the pleasure of teaching students at all levels, from elementary age schoolchildren to GED candidates to Law School applicants. I was both a volunteer tutor for underprivileged students as well as a professional test prep tutor through Inspirica in New York.
My Teaching Style
My teaching method varies according to the student, as I believe everyone has a different way of learning. I try to incorporate material that appeals to each student’s interests so that he or she can be fully engaged in the learning. Of course, good humor and patience are always useful as well.
