I grew up in Brooklyn, New York and moved to California to attend college. I majored in Government at Claremont McKenna College and earned an M.S. in Education from USC, where I focused on leadership and teaching. When I’m not tutoring, I enjoy traveling, going to the beach, spending time with family and friends, and learning new things to share with my students.
MY TEACHING EXPERIENCE
In addition to having many years of experience in college admission, educational program administration, and student advising, I have over 12 years of experience tutoring students in reading (using Orton Gillingham methodology) and writing (mechanics, general assignments, and college admission essays).
MY TEACHING STYLE
Throughout graduate school, I was determined to learn how I could help students who were not doing well in traditional classroom settings. As a result, I tailor my sessions to each student’s learning needs for individual academic success.
