Bonjour! Guten Tag! Hola! I am a native French and German speaker with a solid knowledge of Spanish. I grew up in Brussels, Belgium a beautiful country filled with a great diversity of people, languages, customs, festivals and rich history. I have traveled and lived in many countries throughout Europe and North Africa. Being in constant contact with all this cultural richness led me to pursue my education in foreign languages. I have been living in California since 2002 and received my BA in French and German studies from UCLA. My favorite pastimes are arts and crafts, interior design, traveling, cooking, reading, attending events and volunteering.

I have more than 20 years of teaching experience. My background includes instructing students of various ages and levels in a variety of enriching learning styles that has been fostered by my inherent French and German language passion and abroad experiences which brought about exciting and engaging classes that successfully motivated and developed thoughtful and enthusiastic students! I have taught in a variety of settings such as large classrooms, small group, one on one sessions as well as fun and interactive summer foreign language camps!

To work as a Foreign Language Teacher is to live in an enriching environment. I enjoy infusing students in a culture and language that is totally different then their own while sharing my own experiences and with-it giving students the opportunity to learn beyond the language. I always feel a sense of gratitude each time students progress and are contented with their results! I believe that inspiring words can have a transforming effect on individuals and therefore I make it a priority to get to know my students better in order to gear my lesson plans with real life scenarios that makes the learning process fun and entertaining. I wake up every morning by my passion to help others in the aim to reaching out to those who want to learn and make a difference in the world.
