I grew up in New Jersey and graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Mathematics and a minor in Philosophy. Subsequently, I earned my M.A. in Mathematics Education from the University of Southern California as a teaching fellow with Math for America. When I’m not tutoring, I enjoy playing the guitar and the piano, traveling, hiking, and learning languages.

I have taught mathematics, science, and test preparation at both the middle school and high school levels for several years. I have also helped students improve their study skills, time management, organization, and executive functioning. Over the years, I have seen my students break through their personal barriers to improve their academic grades and scores on tests such as the SAT, ACT, ISEE, and more.

I have a talent for explaining complex material in a clear and relatable way that helps to build rapport with students. Additionally, I encourage students to focus on gaining a thorough understanding of the subject matter, rather than relying on shortcuts and memorization.
