Harvard-Westlake is dedicated to the joyful pursuit of educational excellence. Our curriculum celebrates independent thinking and diversity, encouraging students to discover both themselves and the world around them. Our deans are committed to helping students thrive academically and develop a sense of personal purpose. The Brendan Kutler Center opened in September 2012 to cultivate and sustain interdisciplinary studies and independent research at Harvard-Westlake. Kutler Center programs, classes, and opportunities intellectually bridge the understanding of multiple disciplines.

APs/Advanced Courses

We offer AP courses, interdisciplinary studies, independent research courses, exchange student opportunities, speech and debate, and many other programs. We offer over 300 courses, and over 50 art classes, and host over 40 concerts, dance recitals, plays, and performances each year.
