Introduction

Our elementary school is a safe environment for children to grow, learn, and play. Small class sizes allow for enriched open-ended learning opportunities within a challenging academic program that promotes independent and critical thinking skills, encourages inquiry and investigation, and emphasizes independent thinking. Pilgrim secondary students continue their progress from readiness to full participation in the world of young adulthood. They find themselves poised to integrate the lessons of heart, mind, and soul. As students meet the greater demands of Middle and High School, they find the support of attentive and caring teachers complemented by new learning tools.

A Word From Admissions

At Pilgrim School, our students are educated beyond a narrowly-defined set of academic skills. We’ve redefined student success to include the academic knowledge, artistic exploration, and social skills that they will need to become inquisitive critical thinkers, collaborative problem-solvers, creative pioneers, strong communicators, and empathetic global citizens.

Academic Atmosphere

Enriching, nurturing, and enabling thoughtful moral choices.

Best Fit For Kids Who Are

Compassionate, engaged thinkers.

Popular Programs/Electives

Pilgrim is a college preparatory school and, beginning at an early age, our curriculum is designed around subjects that will prepare students for continuing their higher-level education at a college or university. In addition to core subjects including mathematics, language arts includes phonics, reading, writing composition, spelling, penmanship, science, geography, and history. Pilgrim also offers physical education, music, science labs, Spanish, Mandarin, and art. The curriculum is fully integrated with our library and technology programs.

APs/Advanced Courses

Pilgrim’s graduation requirements are based on the minimum admission requirements set forth by the University of California system. These standards meet or exceed the minimum requirements to be considered for admission to selective academic institutions throughout the country. We offer AP courses in multiple departments.
