At Wise School, through depth, complexity, and differentiation, our students learn how to learn. Children build knowledge as they ask questions, research, solve problems, and add layers to their understanding. Through the application of creativity, children voice their independence, expand their minds, and work towards achieving their greatest potential. Students become creators instead of consumers; they focus more on the process than the product. Our students experience wholeness by making interdisciplinary connections through the development of mind, body, and soul. We recognize each student’s strengths and contributions as we build an inclusive community. We honor our Jewish faith as a living heritage, begin to develop a deep understanding of and commitment to Israel, and develop proficiency in and appreciation of the Hebrew language. At Wise School, thoughtful people inspire meaningful actions in order to make great happen through acts of tikkun olam “repair of the world”.
We seek mission-appropriate children and families who are searching for a school home that successfully combines academic rigor with a passionate commitment to Jewish values and the state of Israel. We look forward to meeting you at our Open Houses in the fall, and/or personal tours which are given year-round. Feel free to reach out to our Admissions department at any time of year to learn more about our award-winning program.

Our graduating 6th-grade students are consistently accepted to the most prestigious private schools in Los Angeles, and usually to their first choice school.
Our 6th graders are given the opportunity to travel to Israel in the spring as a culminating experience to their years-long Judaic Studies education.
Each year, Wise School has a visiting Shaliach, an “emissary from Israel”, who spend their days here on our campus working directly with students and teachers in classrooms, helping forge an authentic connection for our school community to the state of Israel.
