ABOUT ME

I have degrees from both University of Michigan and The Royal Conservatory of Music. When I’m not teaching, I am performing on violin, working as a string arranger for various artists, and as a music producer in KPOP.

MY TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have over 10 years of teaching experience. My students regularly secure concertmaster and principal positions in their regional and school orchestras including The Buckley School, Viewpoint School, Conejo Valley Youth Orchestra, and Baylor University just to name a few. I’ve taught at renowned orchestral programs such as the Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s Civic Youth Ensembles, The Royal Conservatory of Music’s Taylor Academy, and Esperanza Azteca. My students have won top awards in various local and national competitions which recently allowed two of my students to perform in Carnegie Hall. I’m incredibly proud of every single one of them.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I don’t have just one teaching style. Every student is different so I make sure to cater to each individual to the best of my abilities. An enjoyable learning process is a top priority for me so I try to mix in fun whenever possible. I keep my students goal oriented so they feel like they are always progressing towards something.
