Great news for Los Angeles County K-12 students preparing for standardized tests this year! We at LA Tutors are offering two new scholarships to help our community as they prepare for upcoming standardized tests. First is our Independent School Test Prep scholarship which will award three students with free ISEE tutoring, and second is our SAT/ACT Test Prep Scholarship which will award three more students with free SAT/ACT tutoring.
During these uncertain times, we have opened both scholarships to all students in LA County. Both scholarship’s eligibility will revert in 2021 to students who qualify for free/reduced-price lunch and/or students who receive financial aid.
Our Independent School Test Prep Scholarship will award three qualified students with a free 10-hour online ISEE tutoring package. For 2020, this means that any student attending or applying to an independent school in Los Angeles county who needs to take the ISEE has the ability to be awarded ten hours of professional test prep tutoring. We recognize the importance of proper preparation for the ISEE, and having helped thousands of students reach their test prep goals and achieve admissions to their dream schools, we want to give back to our community that we serve. This 10-hour tutoring package will occur entirely over laptop or tablet with one of our expert ISEE tutors.

Our SAT/ACT Test Prep Scholarship will also award three students in LA County with free 10-hour online SAT or ACT tutoring packages. With the SAT and ACT being used by college admissions committees around the country, we understand the pressure of preparing for these tests. This scholarship is open to students with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 or higher, among other criteria. Having helped hundreds of students prepare for the SAT and ACT, we’re excited to help deserving students in our community this year. These tutoring packages will also occur entirely online with one of our expert test prep tutors.
