I was born and raised in Sacramento before moving to Los Angeles in 2008 to attend UCLA. I graduated in 2012 and received my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. I enjoy travelling during my free time and have been to 48 different states. I currently attend dental school at the University of Minnesota and embrace the cold, while doing online tutoring sessions for LA Tutors between studies. I am also a serious investor in the stock market and encourage my students to value financial literacy.

I have over 11 years of tutoring experince and started tutoring undergraduates while I was a student at UCLA. I was also a homeschool private school teacher in Brentwood for two years. I inspire students to perform at their fullest by embracing a positive attitude that inspires them to motivate to improve academically. I even had a student improve from a 2 to an 8 on an ISEE subsection, an official LA Tutors record.

I have a laid-back style of teaching, unless the student needs to be pushed. I like to ask a lot of open-ended questions to help him/her to become a critical thinker, which I strongly believe is a trait of successful adults. Every student is unique and I encourage my students to think outside the box to solve problems, while maintaining hold of fundamentals. I train my students to be independent thinkers and be able to make use of newfound knowledge in the real world.
